課程描述
Course description
Thereare two main tracks of this lab course: (1) quantum foundation, and (2) quantumcontrol. We will explore various topics in quantum foundation by performingsome classic single-photon experiments (quantum optics lab), whilesophisticated quantum control protocols will be implemented withnitrogen-vacancy centers and microwave sequences (quantum spinlab).

課程計劃
Course plan

1st week:  introduction and preparation (9/4)
 2nd-15th week: 14 regularlab sessions
16th week: bonus lab session (12/18)
 Regular lab sessions:

教學方法
Teaching method

1.Essential theoretical background of each experiment will be covered in lectures, which will be delivered
in the form of board work.
2.

Dataanalysis as well as interpretation of experimental results are critical ineffective learning of quantum physics.

To this end, academic writing and scientific communication will be emphasized throughout this course.
